How to build your own analytics dashboard

The built-in reports each answer one question. A dashboard of your own puts the tiles you check every week on one page: the revenue headline from Program overview, the share rate from Funnel, Reward cost from Reward cost & ROI. Everyone who opens Bloop in your store sees the same dashboards.

  • A dashboard that starts as a copy of a report
  • The tiles you want, from any referral report
  • Their order and width
Setting Starts as
My dashboards Empty: “Customize any report to build your own.”
A new dashboard A copy of the report you start from, named after it, such as “Funnel (custom)”
The reports you copy from Unchanged. Editing a dashboard never changes a built-in report
  1. Start from a report

    1. In your Shopify admin, open BLOOP Refer & Aff → Analytics, with Referral selected.
    2. Open the report closest to what you want and click Customize.
    3. Under Name your dashboard, keep or change the name and click Create.

Or click New dashboard under My dashboards, choose a report in Start from, enter a Dashboard name and create it.

The dashboard opens with every tile from the report, and the subtitle says which report it’s based on.

  2. Edit the tiles

    1. Click Edit. Editing works on a desktop, not on a phone.
    2. Click Add tile, search or browse tiles grouped by report, and click Add on each one you want. Click Done.
    3. To drop a tile, click its Remove.
    4. To resize a tile, choose One third, Half or Full row. Cohort grids always take a full row.
    5. To reorder, drag a tile by its handle, or use Move up and Move down.
    6. Click Save.
  3. Rename, duplicate or delete

    1. Open the dashboard and open its actions menu.
    2. Choose Rename, Duplicate or Delete. Deleting a dashboard doesn’t affect the reports it was built from.
  • Dashboards are referral only. Affiliate reports can’t be copied, and My dashboards shows when Referral is selected.
  • Two people editing at once. If someone saved a newer version while you were editing, Bloop asks whether to Replace with my version or Discard my changes.
  • After a plan change. If your plan stops including Analytics, your dashboards stay but are locked. They come back unchanged when you upgrade.
  • A tile can be retired. If Bloop removes a metric, its tile says This tile is no longer available. Remove it and pick a replacement.
  • The Setup health checklist can’t be added to a dashboard.
